Meet Joey a presumed border collie mix
Joey is a 4 year old girl who weighs 60lbs. She got her name from the cute way she bounces like a kangaroo! When Joey first arrived, she would sometimes bark at people from her kennel, but quickly we figured out that she was just doing her job–hey! someone is here!–and that she is sweet as can be. She has learned too, that in the shelter, strangers coming to the door can be a really fun thing, as they tend to bring treats and take you on walks! She is very active and very intelligent! She also loves to carry toys around with her. Joey has not played well with other dogs here yet.
