Petunia

Meet Petunia! “I rolled up into someone’s house one day and just would not go home! No one knows where I came from, but it was clear this was not my first time meeting humans! I am about 6 years old and now that I am spayed, vaccinated, and dewormed, I am ready for a fresh start. I am a funny girl–sometimes I like to hiss at people from inside my kennel, but I don’t mean anything by it! I love to get pets and having my neck scratched is my favorite thing! I would do better without kids, in case they can’t read me, but I am like a book otherwise!”

Riley

Please meet Riley! This 6 year old girl is a sassy, spunky sweetie. She is declawed in the front, so needs an indoor only home where she can stay safe. She has lived with multiple dogs before and is cool as a cuke with them. Riley probably needs a home without children, or with older, cat-savvy kids, as she can get a little zealous with her love bites, but she looooooves attention in any form. She is playful and likes to seek out warm laps.

Spencer

Meet Spencer! Are you looking for an adorable cuddle partner? Spencer is your guy! This friendly boy is about 4 years old. He is gentle, talkative, and personable. He seeks out affection and is not an under-the-bed kinda cat. He loves to make new friends and be a part of the happenings of the home!

Hello! Gill,a presumed border collie pit mix- here, checking to see if my new home is looking for me. I am a 2-3 year old boy who weighs ~55lbs. I am a loyal companion and have lived with dogs before. I can be selective with which canines I get along with, but staff can help introduce me. I can get nervous, but I always look to my person for reassurance. I love to be loved and will crawl into your lap if you let me. I can be protective of my home, but have no problem with people coming in and out of my space–in fact, I love meeting people!

Larry

Always read entire post please.
Meet Larry a presumed pit mix-
Lovely Larry is ready for a new home! This sweetiepie is about 1 year old and weighs about 60lbs. At first, in his kennel, Larry can act a little timid. But meet him on a leash, and you will see him shine! He will probably lean into your legs gently and wag his tail, sometimes even melting over for belly rubs.
This friendly, affectionate boy loves to make new friends, human and canine alike. We haven’t found another dog he doesn’t like, yet! Larry is a sweet soul who would love to find a forever family.

Nevada

Always read entire post please.
My name is Nevada, a presumed Australian shepherd mix and I am a 3 year old girl who weighs 48lbs. I can be a bit skittish and slow to warm up, but each day here at the shelter, I get more and more out of my shell! I am loving all the walks and fun times with the volunteers. Staff thinks my skittish days may be a thing of the past pretty soon! I came from a home where I lived with dogs, cats, and kids–so it isn’t that I am not social–it is just that I need an extra second to get comfy. I am a loving, goofball with nice manners and would love to find a forever family!
