Bandit

Hello and very pleased to meet you, I’m Bandit! I’m a sweet and mellow guy, just 5 years old, who came to the shelter through no fault of my own. I’m handsome and playful and great at fitting right in with a loving family… could I join yours?

Madeline

Please meet the lovely Madeline! Madeline is about 5 years old and is ready for a new family. She came to the Shelter after her family moved away and a kind neighbor took over her care. She was an indoor/outdoor cat and can be a bit independent… but give her a minute to warm up, talk gently to her, and you’ll hear that purring start up. Madeline is coming out of her shell more each day and we are enjoying getting to know her.

One of our knowledgeable volunteers says, “She is a VERY nice girl. She is quiet and undemanding. Once she gets into a loving home where she will be able to settle in, she will blossom.

Lynyrd

Rigby

Meet Rigby
Rigby is a 2 year old boy weighing in at 65lbs Great American Shelter Dog. Not sure of his breed- but we can guess some mixture of Mastiff- do to his brindle Color, lab if we look at conformation and border with that snow white splashing on chest and feet. Whatever he is- he is striking! Rigby came in with his sister Eleanor, when they were found running loose, so we are forming their story as we get to know them. So far, Rigby is a social butterfly, who has nice manners and enjoys the affection of new human friends. Rigby loves playing with his sister Eleanor and would love to join a new pack!

Eleanor

Meet Eleanor
It doesn’t get much sweeter than Eleanor! We estimate Eleanor is about 2 years old and she weighs 56lbs a presumed Lab perhaps Border mix. She is sweet, gentle, and melts into the floor for the possibility of a belly rub. Eleanor came to us as a stray with her pal (brother, we think), Rigby–not much is known about their history, but they are eager to write a new story!

Doogan is a gentleman, has nice manners, and is polite when meeting new people. We’re not sure about his past experiences, but Doogan appears to like car rides and was a gentleman for his bath! Doogan is hoping to find a family that will let him be part of the fun and adventures!

Snickers

Meet Snickers
Snickers is a young 1-2 year old female who weighs about 50lbs. Snickers is a flirt! Walk by her kennel and you’ll see batting eyelashes and a wagging tail, just waiting to draw you in for pets. She loves to be loved on, and will try to crawl into your lap. She is new to leashes, but learning well! Snickers has played with some dogs, but it will take a particular owner/dog to fold her into their pack, as she is quite the bossy gal.

He is known to chase kitties, so felines be ware! Grits is housebroken, has nice manners in the home and when meeting new people, and loves, loves, LOVES car rides! Shay

Hey, my eyes are up here! I know, I know, I’m quite the looker! My name is Shay and I am 1-2 years old presumed Husky Samoyed mix. I weigh about 58lbs, although it may look like more with all my fluff! I’m a social butterfly who is quick to make friends with people (including children) and other dogs. You see, I love making friends so much that sometimes I take it upon myself to let myself out on a walkabout. Then, once I’m out and about, I think chasing other animals is a fun game! They don’t tend to think so, though. 🙁 When I’m leashed or contained, though, I’m a gentleman with nice manners. I’m even housebroken! I’m just looking for a home that can keep me in–either giving my supervised exercise or a covered kennel. I promise I’ll make up for it with lots of love!
