My name is Starburst  a presumed Pit mix Great American Shelter dog and I’m about 3 years old and weighs 60lbs. You won’t find a more loving dog than me! I love to plant my behind right at your feet and nuzzle my nose into your lap for affection. I can get pretty playful (especially with other playful dogs!) but being petted instantly calms me down and I tend to melt into a little puddle in your lap. When I first came to the shelter, I had major hair loss, inflammation, and was itchy all over–I was mostly bald and very uncomfortable. With some medication and a healthy diet, my hair has grown back and I’m well on my way to health! I’m much more comfortable now and am looking for a home who can make sure I stay that way by keeping me on flea prevention and quality food.
