Chili D.

Please read entire post.

Meet Chili D, an approximately 3 year old, 17.5 pound tall and lean Terrier mix who gets along with most dogs of all sizes and breeds. He came into the shelter as a stray, so we don’t know his back story. Currently in a loving foster home, this is what his foster mom has to say about him:
Chili D was nervous at first. But once he knew the kinder side of human kind- he really came out of his shell. He is a loving, playful boy who loves chasing balls and bringing it back to you. He has very good recall. He knows, sit, down, roll over and is an eager pleaser. He has wonderful potty manners; if you don’t get him out in time- he will do his business on piddle pad,- but would rather just go outside. He likes to be with his people-and loves to snuggle. He will bark when strangers come forward, so proper introduction is encouraged. A low key family will be the best fit for this little man. When he is happily excited to play, sometimes he will show his teeth- but it is his unique way of smiling- and then he will chatter his teeth. He can climb a baby gate- but it is only because he wants to be with his people. Once bonded with his family- he will be a most devoted companion.
